The Country Club of St. Albans offers fun and educational youth programs in the summer months for a wide array of ages and ability. To start your little's adventure, Tiny Tigerz is a fun way to introduce the game of golf to youngsters. Our various junior golf programs cover all aspects of the game including etiquette, rules, full swing, short game, and putting.
We've integrated the Operation 36 development model and coaching platform into our Junior Golf Program to enhance our young golfer's experience. For our juniors, Operation 36 allows us to track their golf development over time and gives parents a timely and motivating way to get their junior(s) on the golf course. Our coaches have access to a junior development model that can help us project where a junior's handicap will be by the time they graduate high school. Parents can quickly switch between juniors in the mobile app to see their goals and log when they play or train. Operation 36 is not only fun but will help your junior(s) reach their goals!
This is an introductory program for children aged seven and under. We'll introduce the kids to some FUNdamentals of golf in a safe fashion, with fun and entertaining events throughout the summer.
PGA Junior League
PGA Jr. League is changing the way youth golf is learned and played, including the adoption of league play, team golf, and scoring with flags and points. This is a fun and recreational 2-player scramble format built for players of all skill levels.
St. Albans Junior League
Our junior league is designed to allow our junior golfers to compete against each other here at St. Albans in a fun team atmosphere. We'll use a format similar to the PGA Jr League, along with other games to create a friendly competition.
St. Albans Junior Golf Camp
This four-day camp helps juniors improve their basic golf skills, learn course management, and practice with a purpose.
St. Albans Junior Players Academy
This is an advanced junior camp directed towards our more competitive junior players who have the aspiration to play in high school and/or at the college level. Students will learn to become more successful tournament golfers from our Golf Digest "Best in State" Instructor, Ryan Martin, and our other talented golf professionals.
St. Albans Junior Championship
This is a junior championship match played for a chair at our yearly Champion's Dinner.
